Immunopotentiating Effect of Natto Freeze- drying Powder

To observe the effects on immune function,Natto is administered to mice by gaven for 30 days at dosages of 83 333 and 1 000 mg/kg. Humoral immunity function is obviously enhanced which is assessed by lg M- PFC. Cellularimmunity is strengthened which is detected by delayed type hypersensitivity(DTH) and the weight of lymphoid organs are increased,whereas,phagocytosis of peritoneal macrophages is not influenced by current treatment.
