Design of Eight-Channel Audio Signal Acquisition System Based on McASP

Multi-channel audio signal acquisition finds its application in many audio systems.A design scheme for 8-channel audio signal acquisition system is proposed,which is based on the multi-channel audio serial port McASP of TMS320C6727.The PCM4204 and PCM4104 are selceted as A/D and D/A converter chip.The design of hardware interface circuit is described.The configurations of the McASP and other related devices are given.The corresponding software of the system is also designed.The system is tested on the developing platform of AIM6727.The results show that the system successfully performs the acquisition of 8-channel audio signals without any distortion and delay.
