Measurement and Evaluation of Mechanical Properties for Aluminum Fins in Manufacture Process

In order to improve the process of fin in the manufacture of air conditioning,mechanical tensile test,cupping test and bending test were conducted for five kinds of aluminum foils.Then mechanical properties of these aluminum foils were compared,especially mechanical properties,Erichsen value and the change of the thickness.According to the experiments results the material CC603W and A1200P have the average tensile strength but their elongation is greater than others and stamping performance is particularly good.Thus they are suitable for aluminum fin processing in these materials.CC438B20 has the larger tensile strength and poor ductility,not suitable for fin processing.
