Vertical Specialization and Developing Countries' Economic Globalization——Also on Limitations of the East Asia Model

Initiating economic globalization, vertical specialization in developing countries is full of danger. The greatest experience of the East Asia Model is importing technology and e-quipment for domestic industrial upgrading while the lesson from Asia's Financial Crisis is avoiding the influence of foreign capital on the nations capacity for automatic cycle of economy and self-accumulation. For maximum profits from vertical specialization during economic globalization , developing countries should choose the strategy of foreign-trade-oriented economy, assisted with foreign-capital-oriented economy in times of necessity.
