Initiating economic globalization, vertical specialization in developing countries is full of danger. The greatest experience of the East Asia Model is importing technology and e-quipment for domestic industrial upgrading while the lesson from Asia's Financial Crisis is avoiding the influence of foreign capital on the nations capacity for automatic cycle of economy and self-accumulation. For maximum profits from vertical specialization during economic globalization , developing countries should choose the strategy of foreign-trade-oriented economy, assisted with foreign-capital-oriented economy in times of necessity.
