Optimum Design of Pressure-Temperature Quartz Transducer

CAD for transducer is a completely new field of scientific research. Its design means is fully different to traditional experience of trial-and-error method. Up till now,the research in this field in our country is just at the very beginning and the research result abroad is seldom seen too. In this paper, some useful explorations of CAD-transducer are given. Based on the analysis of the principle and the characteristics of the pressure-temperature quartz transducer,the authors propose an optimum design method for the geometrical parameters of this transducer. With the theoretical analysis,the modelling and the calculation, the goal to minimize the force frequency coefficient for the SC-cut B mode to zero and to maximize that for C mode in the certain constrained condition,is achieved. The final calculated result shows that this method is effective in practice. The proposed method can be used for reference to the design of other kinds of transducers.
