On Sartre's Humanism of "Freedom"

XIE Jun(College of Politics and Law, Southwest Normal University, Beibei District, Chongqing 400715, China)
"Freedom" is the core of Sartre's humanist philosophy. On the philosophical basis of "Existence prior to essence", he puts forward the proposition of absolute freedom, i.e., "freedom means my existence", the essence of which is an idealist conception of freedom. Having exaggerated the subjective activity, he has no means of avoiding the contradiction between destined freedom, freedom and environment, freedom and obligation in his theoretical system.
