A Probe into the Features of Divorce Policy of Beiyang Government

In the 1920s,the divorce questions in urban areas which caught people's eyes reflected that the divorce system of Beiyang Government was characterized by the transition from a traditional type to a modern one.Compared with the traditional system,the divorce policy of the Government had its advantages and meanwhile disadvantages.In fact,divorce had stepped into the process of legal system.Its theory and practice laid a basis for the establishment of the comprehensive and scientific divorce policy for later governments.
