Interjections are the words which can stand alone as sentences or linguistic expressions. In spite of their flexible syntactic positions,e.g.at the beginning or end,or in the middle of a sentence, their frequency in use in different positions are strikingly different. The interjections used in the position of head, middle or end tend to decrease in distribution.Further, the position of interjections is relatively stable and they cannot be changed at will.
