ANALYSIS OF THE PRINCIPLE FOR MEASURING THE REFRACTIVE INDEX OF BIO-TISSUE BASED ON OCT TECHNIQUE

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technique based on optical reflectance measurement of low coherence is a novel imaging technique that performs noninvasive, high resolution and fast imaging of highly scattering media such as bilogical tissue. The expressions of the refractive indices of multiple layer bio tissues and the corresponding layer thickness as functions of the measurement parameters are obtained by analyzing the principle of measurement-tracing of focus at the sample arm.
