Current Status and Cultivation Pathway of Humanistic Quality for Higher Vocational College Students in Core Literacy Field

Humanistic quality constitutes an important part of key literacy of students of five-year schooling higher vocational colleges. It may be known based on questionnaire that current status of humanistic quality of students majoring in architecture of higher vocational colleges is not optimistic. Students are in lack of understanding humanistic quality and do not like to read relevant books. They can know about the importance of humanistic quality,long to receive humanistic education,and are more inclined to be edified in practical activities and arts appreciation. Significant pathways for cultivation of humanistic quality of students include teaching of such subjects as Chinese Language and Music,edification and promotion of humanism seminar,arts appreciation and traditional culture,social organizational practice and public service activities.
