Su Shi's Theory of Literati Painting

Ji Chunyang Fine Arts College, Nanjing Normal University, Jiangsu Nanjing 210097  
Su Shi devoted himself to the cognition of noumenon of painting, and advanced the "literati painting theory" based on "painting according to objects", "unity of appearance and spirit", and "combination of poetry and painting", so as to establish the position of literati paintings in the history of Chinese painting.
