Bone mineral density and bone metabolites index in the study of the application value of the osteoporotic spine fracture

Objective To study the application value of combine bone mineral density and bone metabolites index in the osteoporotic spine fracture and provide complete diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis fracture strategy. Methods 60 patients aged over 60 with brittle rachis fracture were selected as the research object. According to the bone mineral density values,the patients were divided into the osteoporosis group and the non-osteoporosis The bone metabolites were measured and MRI imaging were observed. On the basis of Oswestry disability index(ODI),the clinical symptoms in patients with 60 cases were assessed. Results The age and gender of the two groups were not statistically significant. The contrast of the four bone metabolite indexes in the two groups were not statistically significant. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of ODI scores. The minimum t-value score was found in different parts of the patient's age and it was a statistically significant difference in bone density. The results showed statistically significant differences in the results of osteoporosis detection under different criteria. Conclusion Bone mineral density testing has some limitations in clinical applications,the bone metabolites indicators,injury mechanism,imaging and other comprehensive analysis need to be used to accurately diagnose and treat the spinal fractures caused by osteoporosis.
