The Study on Joint-toxicity of Methomyl with Insecticides

Yu Shuying Ou Xiaoming Lin Xuemei(Hunan Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Hunan Branch of the National Southern Pesticide R & D Center, Changsha 410007)
Joint-toxicity of methomyl plus fenitrothion or isoprocarb for control of Aphis fabae and Mythimna separata were tested in the laboratory using immersion method, spray technique and dropping method .The results showed that a salient synergy was exhibited in combination of methomyl plus fenitrothion (1:7) and isoprocarb (1:2) against Aphis fabae and Mythimna separata. Their co-toxicity coefficient (CTC) were 249.03,180.30,235.45 and 274.30 respectively. The effects of three bioassay technique on toxicity of methomyl against insects were compared.
