Cognitive Status of Genetically Modified Agricultural Products of Beijing Urban Residents

With the development of biotechnology,a growing number of genetically modified agricultural products entered the human food chain,and at the same time,with the development of transgenic technology, the international debate intensified over the safety of genetically modified agricultural products. Through questionnaire,this article investigated the cognitive attitudes and purchase intention of genetically modified agricultural products of Beijing urban residents. Influencing factors of genetically modified agricultural products cognitive were found,countermeasures of how to improve the erroneous perception on genetically modified agricultural products were proposed. Eventually,we predicted the development direct and market prospects of transgenic technology and genetically modified agricultural products.
