Enhancer of Increasing Pestcide Products Efficacy(Ⅰ)

HUA Nai-zhen (Shenzhen Noposion Pestides Stock Co., Ltd., Shenzhen 518102, Guangdong, China)
This paper describes that enhancer can improve pesticide products efficacy through increasing spray droplet wetting, spreading, retention, penetrating and uptake in plant species. Enhancer can be classified into types: surfactant, oils, polymers, inorganic salts and waxes and so on. So both the physicochemical properties of pesticide products and the leaf surface characters of plant species need to be considered in selecting enhancer. Surfactant was the most widely used of enhancer. Effect of surfactants on the uptake of pesticide products depends on the structure(hydrophobe and hydrophile moieties) and concentration of the surfactants.
