Residue Dynamics of Imidaclothiz 40% WG in Rice

The purpose of this article was to study dissipation and residue of imidaclothiz in rice field ecosystem. The field trials including the dissipation and terminal residue were conducted in Jinan of Shandong province and Beijing during 2007-2008. The results showed that the dissipation dynamics of imidaclothiz in rice field samples all accorded with the one-level dynamics equation. In Beijng the half-lives of imidaclothiz on water, soil and plant were 2.35, 7.87 and 7.83 d, respectively. In Jinan the half-lives of imidaclothiz on water, soil and plant were 2.37, 9.24 and 7.58 d, respectively. Two-year and two-area results showed that the terminal residues in rice field samples were lower than MRL(0.5 mg/kg). When imidaclothize 40% WG was applied to the rice field ecosystem at the recommended dosaged, the rice harvested coule be sonsidered safe.
