Field Screening Experiments for the Substituted Agrochemicals of Fipronil

Field screening experiments for the substituted agrochemicals of f ipronil were tested. When avermectins·dursban 15% EC applied at 900 mL/ha, dursban 48% EC at 1 200 mL/ha and pymetrozine 25% WP at 300 g/ha in field plot trials respectively, they provided control efficacy 89.3, 82.2 and 83.4% against brown planthopper and 90.1, 85.4 and 86.2% against small brown planthopper at 10 d after application, respectively. At 15 d after application against rice leaf roller, avermectins·dursban 15% EC at 900 mL/ha, dursban 48% EC at 1 200 mL/ha, avermectins 1.8% EC at 1 500 mL/ha and emamestin benzoate 1% EC at 1 500 mL/ha, the leaf protection efficacy was 97.7, 87.2, 97.5 and 98.1%, the control efficacy was 98.8, 89.8, 100 and 100%, respectively. When they were used at the same dosage in field demonstration trials, at 10 d after application avermectins·dursban and dursban provided the control efficacy against planthopper was 78.4 and 76.9%, while against rice leaf roller the leaf protection efficacy was 84 and 80.7%, the control efficacy was 87.6 and 80.4%, respectively. The results showed that avermectIns·dursban and dursban may be the substituted agrochemicals of fipronil to both planthopper and rice leaf roller, pymetrozine may be the substituted agrochemicals of fipronil to single planthopper, avermectins or emamestin benzoate may be the substituted agrochemicals of fipronil to single rice leaf roller. In addiiton, the techniques of the above-mentioned agrochemicals used in field was discussed.
