[Aims]The purpose of this research was to screen optimum process conditions of spinosad-chlorpyrifos microsphere(SCM) and evaluate its performance to provide evidences for optimizing using performance of the compound pesticide.[Methods]The effects of emulsifier, mass ratio of core materials and wall materials and volume ratio of oil phase and water phase on the particle diameter, surface morphology,drug-loading rate and entrapment rate of microsphere had been investigated, respectively. In addition, the characteristics of SCM were evaluated by using differential scanning calorimetry and HPLC.[Results]In the optimal formulation, the Arab glue was used as emulsifier with the mass concentration of 17.5 g/L,the mass ratio of core materials and wall materials was 1:3,and the volume ratio of oil phase and water phase was 1:20.[Conclusions]The core materials was combined well with wall materials, and the SCM displayed a nice photostability.
