Control Effect of Three Kinds of Miticides against Tetranychus viennensis

[Aims] The objective of this study is to evaluate the control effect with bifenazate, cyflumetofen and etoxazole against Tetranychus viennensis. [Methods] Under pot experiments and field conditions, control efficacy of the three kinds of miticides against T. viennensis were determined. [Results] The results showed that control efficacies were over 85% after 3, 5, 7, 14 d and the reduce rates reached over 97% which showed quick availability and persistence after 21 d by using bifenazate 43% SC and cyflumetofen 20% SC under field conditions. The reduce rates reached over 90% by using etoxazole SC at a dose of 110 g/L after 21 d, which has good quick availability and poor persistence. [Conclusions] According to the pot and field experiments, bifenazate 43% SC, cyflumetofen 20% SC and etoxazole 110 g/L SC are an effective way of controlling T. viennensis. The rotational application of the three kinds of miticides should be properly used under filed conditions.
