Field trials were conducted to compare the effec-tiveness of different fungicides for the control of pear scab(Venturia pyrina)during 1992-1993. The results showed that12.5%diniconazole(WP)at 25-33g/100 liter water or 10%diniconazole (EC) at 33ml/100 liter water and 25%bitertanal(WP)at 80-100g/100 liter water sprayed 6-8 times in a yeargave better control than 1∶ 2.5∶240 bordeaux and 40%car-bendazin(flowable formulation)at 200ml/100 liter water inpear orchards where scab was serious and diseased brancheswere pruned.
