Growth and Physiological Response of Cucumber Seedlings to Tricyclazole Tricyclazole

Effect of different concentrations(0.1~6.0ppm)of tricyclazole on the growth and physiology of cucumberseedlings was investigated.Results showed that low concen-trations(0.1~2.0ppm)of tricyclazole solutions in which seedswere soaked for 8 hours stimulated the growth of cucumberplants by the increase in plant height, leaf area and drybiomass. Seeds soaked in 0.1~3.0ppm tricyclazole solutionsalso increased contents of chlorophyll of plant,and decreasedthe stomatic resistance of leaves. However,concentrations oftricyclazole more than 3. Oppm caused the reduction of thegrowth and physiololgical activities of cucumber plants,phyto-toxlcity of cucumber plant was found when the seed was treat-ed with 6ppm of tricyclazole.
