Business English Vocabulary Teaching Based on Cognitive Engagement and Production-oriented Approach

Based on language instruction inspired by cognitive linguistics and production-oriented approach,this paper constructs a model of Business English vocabulary teaching in accordance with need analysis of Business English learning and features of business vocabulary. It consists of three aspects: the selective engagement of"meaning-meaning"motivations of business vocabulary,the input enabling of motivations with the help of corpus methods,the output design based on learning and communicative goals.
