Objective To investigate the relationship between apoptosis-related protein and the pathogenesis and progression of cervical cancer.Methods125 cases of CIN,40 cases of invasive cervical cancer and 30 normal cervical tissues were investigated with immunohistochem technique.ResultsThe positive expression rate of Fas in cervical cancer was significantly lower than that in normal tissues(P0.05).While that of Survivin was significantly greater than in normal tissues(P0.05),and increased gradually.ConclusionThe expression levels of Fas were significantly lower and the expression levels of Survivin were significantly higher in cervical carcinoma. Both Fas and Survivin may take part in the pathogenesis and development of cervical carcinoma
