Objective To observe the clinical value of MRI in the early diagnosis of femoral head necrosis after femoral neck fracture surgery. Methods 50 patients with femoral neck necrosis after femoral neck fracture surgery in the hospital from January 2015 to August 2016 were slected as study object. The patients with this study were retrospectively analyzed for MRI and X-ray examination at different time Results. The diagnostic sensitivity and changes in time of femoral head necrosis of the progress of the situation were observed, and the examination results between MRI and X-ray examination were compared. Results MRI sensitivity at 3 months,6 months,9 months, and 12 months were all higher than X-ray examination, the differences were statistically significant(P 0. 05). The results of MRI of the change of femoral head necrosis showed that the time required for discovering femoral head necrosis and the progression of the disease would be increased, and there was significant difference between different periods(P 0. 05). Conclusion X-ray and MRI had higher diagnostic rate in the early stage of femoral head necrosis, but the sensitivity of MRI was significantly higher than that of X-ray examination, and it is suitable for early diagnosis of femoral head necrosis after femoral neck fracture surgery.
