Research on the adsorption properties of uranium by different magnetic graphene oxide

Oxidized graphene( MGO) with different magnetic properties was prepared by changing the amount of Fe_3O_4 with Fe_3O_4 as the magnetizing agent. The structure of MGO was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and XRD. It was confirmed that Fe_3O_4 was successfully supported on graphene oxide. The effects of p H,initial concentration of uranium and adsorption time on uranium adsorption were investigated systematically,and the optimum adsorption conditions were obtained. The experimental data are fitted by Langmuir model and Freundlich model. The results show that the adsorption isotherm is more consistent with Langmuir model,and the pseudo second- order kinetics model can better fit the adsorption process compared with pseudo- first order kinetic model.
