Mineral Geochemistry of Eclogite in the Sulu Belt and Its Implication

Garnet and clinopyroxene are the main minerals of eclogite.Their trace elements play important roles in further researching dynamic process,such as chemical composition.The major and trace elements of garnet and clinopyroxene in the eclogite of the Sulu Belt have good positive correlation with those of whole rock.The garnet is deficient in LREE and enriched in HREE,while clinopyroxene has the opposite characteristic.The LREE and HREE between garnet and clinopyroxene have complementary relationship which is mutual waning and waxing.Elements Ga,Cr,Zn mainly occur in garnet and clinopyroxene,HREE,Y,Co,Sc mainly occur in garnet and V,Ni mainly occur in clinopyroxene.LREE,Sr mainly exist in clinopyroxene of the Jiaodong eclogite,while mainly occur in apatite and epidote of the Lunan eclogite.The Jiaodong eclogite belong to mantle origin,while eclogite from the Lunan have both mantle and crust origin.The disgenetic temperature and pressure increased from the west to the east of the Sulu eclogite belt.
