The Study About Evolution of Spatial Chirp for Deep-Sea Internal Waves

In the paper,according to the deep-sea internal waves weakly nonlinear Schrdinger(NLS)equation which is derived based on two-layer fluid basic equations,the effects of dispersion and nonlinearity in deep sea are tried to explain with the idea of spatial chirp.The functions of dispersion-caused chirp and nonlinearity-caused chirp are resolved,and the total chirp are calculated mathematically.Then evolutions of dispersion-caused chirp,nonlinearity-caused chirp and total chirp are analyzed.The mechanism of the evolution of internal waves around the Dongsha islands in the south China sea is explained in terms of spatial chirp.
