On the Responsibility of the Insurer for Releasing Cargo Without Bill of Lading by Carrier

This paper focuses on the issues whether the insurer under All Risks is liable for releasing cargo without bill of lading by the carrier and analyses the leading cases as well as the regulation made by the Supreme People's Court.Its point out the reasons from different point of view that the insurer should bear the responsibility under the All Risks cover for carrier delivering the goods without the production of the original bill of lading,unless the contract expressly provides otherwise.
