Achromatic Composite Retardation Plate

Li Guohua Su Meikai Yu Dehong (Laser Institute, Qufu Normal University)  
Make a 60°angle between the two fast axes of a 1/4 waveplate and a 1/2 waveplate of the same wave length, then a composite waveplate is formed, which is achromatic near this wave length; similarly, an achromatic 1/2 waveplate is obtain too, and they are proved by experiment.
