Synthesis,Structure and Anti-bacterial Activity of Dialkyltin N-(5-Chlorosalicylidene)-L-isoleucinates

Three new dialkyltin N-(5-Chlorosalicylidene)-L-isoleucinates,R2Sn[2-O-5-ClC6H3CH=NCH(s-Bu)COO](R = Ph,1;c-C6H11,2;n-Bu,3) were synthesized by the reaction of dialkyltin dichloride with in situ formed potassium N-(5-chlorosalicylidene)-L-isoleucinate and characterized by elemental analysis,IR,1H NMR.The structure of 1 has been determined by X-ray crystallography.The crystal of 1 is monoclinic space group P21 and tin atom is in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry to form five-and six-membered chelate rings with the tridentate ligand.Bioassay results show that these compounds have good anti-bacterial activity against two bacteria,E.coli and S.aureus.
