Study on spatio-temporal foreign tourism market of Qinghai province

At the beginning of the 21st century, Qinghai's tourism has increased more faster than the last century, but there are a few research on tourism market about Qinghai. So this article mainly analyses on the foreign tourist market of Qinghai from 1990s to 2000s. On the temporal structure, Qinghai's foreign tourists number has growth in 10% per year at the beginning of thiscentury. On the spatial structure, the foreign original counties have increased in recently but the tourists focus on a few countries.The spatial concentration index has declined in the 1990s but increased in the beginning of 21st century. So the article suggests that Qinghai's tourism development should combine with neighbor provinces and districts, build specific image, and supply tourism products according to foreign market demand.
