The Competitive Advantage , Cross-border M&A and the Correlation of the Global Value Network

In global value network,cross-border MA has become a way that both sides of the MA secure external resource and create competitive advantage.It greatly boosts the cross-border MA and provides developing countries more opportunities to merge developed countries’ companies.Because in global value network,the competitive edge based on enterprise’ special ability and its network relationship,enterprise is not only likely to merger for cultivate special ability,but also for building and improving the network relationship.The success of the cross-border MA need complementary special ability and network resources to attract target enterprises and increase synergistic effect.It also depend the capability of post-merger integration.Multinationals must create enough post-merger competitive advantage for the success of MA.
