Academic Debate and Extended of Export-oriented Strategy

This article carries through critical thinking in theory enclosed with "export-oriented strategy" and demonstrates based on the practice of Japan, "Asia's Four Little Dragons", Sweden and China. Ultimately four conclusions are followed. Firstly, the purpose of export is to share the advantage of international division of labor but not to transfer remain inland. Secondly, the balance of import and export is necessary to share the advantage of international division of labor. Thirdly, the import and export is exchange of demands, so expanding the domestic demand can not be substituted by expanding external demand. Fourthly, the export-oriented strategy can promote one country to jack-up in economy in short time but can not be a long-term strategy.
