Competition Constraint,Operation Paradigm and Oligopoly Governance of Network Platform

Feng Ran;
The online platform is the operating platform which is a mixture of virtual network and transaction entity.During its operation process, it is affected both by traditional economic law and the digital economic law. Two-sided market function, network effects as well as the network pricing mechanism are the major reasons which lead to the formation of the online platform oligopoly. The online platform in China is featured not only by the characteristics of oligopoly which are high-level market market concentration, high entry barrier, obstructed information flow and lowlevel differentiation of the service,but also employs two kinds of anti-competition strategy: mandatory low pricing(high pricing) and the sales bundle. The government in China should establish anti-monopoly approaches and qualify the data as an essential facility as soon as possible to build a fair competition environment for companies.
