Crystallographic Forms of Synthetic Diamonds

Lu Zhaotian(Research Institute of Synthetic Crystals,Beijing)  
In this paper,the influences of the relativc changes,in thegrowth rate and in the specific surface energy of synthetic diamond crystalson their crystllographic forms are discussed,and Wulff′s formula is plainlyverified.A high yield growth zone of synthetic diamonds with high strengthis given on the state diagram of carbon.
