Growth of Organic Crystal Fiber by Zone Melting in Descended Ampoule

In this paper,it is introduced to grow N-(4-nitrophenyl)-(L)-prolinol (NPP) organic crystal fiber by zone melting in descendedampoule to design the growing device and to choose the growing condition.Simultaneously,single crystal cored fibers of NPP were grown in glass capi-llaries,Its dimensions was 0.5mm core diameter and 33 mm length.SHGexperiments were made in NPP fiber nanosecond pulses duration at λ=1.064μm,obtained from a Nd~(3+):YAG laser,a visible second-harmonic signal wasgenerated.Some questions was discussed.
