Study on Growth and Holographic Associative Memory on Sc:In:Fe:LiNbO_3 Crystals

Doped Sc_2O_3 and In_2O_3 in Fe:LiNbO_3 crystal,Sc:In:Fe:LiNbO_3 crystals were grown by Czochralski method.The Infrared spectra and the photoscattering resistance ability were measured.The OH~-absorption peak of the Sc(1mol%):In(2mol%):Fe:LiNbO_3 crystal is shifted to 3508cm~(-1) and the photo scattering resistance ability is two orders of magnitude higher than that of Fe:LiNbO_3 crystal.The OH~-absoption peak shift mechanism and the mechanism of the photo scattering resistans ability increase went on discussion.Using Sc(1mol%):In(2mol%):Fe:LiNbO_3 crystal as storage element and the Cu:KNSBN crystal as phase conjugation mirror,the holographic associative memory experiments were completed.The experimental results show that the image mass of holographic associative storage is high,the image is clean and complete and noise is small.
