Research of the Effect of Boric Acid on the La-Yb-Er

In this paper,red up-conversion luminescence material La-Yb-Er based on rare earth oxide is synthesized by the coprecipitation synthesis technique.The materials are based on La_2O_3 with Er~(3+) ion as luminescence center,Yb~(3+) ion as sensitized center.The achievement is gained by joining different quantity of boric acid at the time of sintering.The precursors are sintered at 1300℃ by joining 1/5-1/3 boric of the quantity of precursors for synthesizing the red up-conversion luminescence materials.And the functionary mechanism was also analyzed.
