Review of Research on Molybdate Laser Crystal

The research in the structure,growth,spectroscopic of molybdate Laser crystal at home and abroad are summarized in this article.The available molybdate crystal can be categorized into scheelite-like and pamierite type.Czochralski method is the main way to grow these crystals,but due to volatilization and growing process it also have the problem of color center,crystal cracking,proportioning.With the research of predecessor on this material,the spectral property of Yb3+ doped scheelite-like molybdate is focused on,and this type molybdate could be the promising bulk for Lasers.
