Optimal Design and Analysis of a New Magnetic Shielding Device in Cusp Magnetic Field

This paper puts forward a new magnetic shielding device on the basis of the traditional,and the magnetic field strength and power in 8 inch mono-crystal furnace were simulated and optimized. The results show that: when the ampere-turns is 33600,the improved magnetic shielding device has obvious advantages,and its magnetic field strength increases by 27. 03%. When the radial magnetic field strength is 491 Gs in the crucible wall,its power consumption drops by about 35. 97%. The study provides a design idea and design method for further reducing power consumption.
