Preparation and Characterization of Micro-nanometer LaMgB_5O_(10)

Micro-nanometer LaMgB5O10 powder was prepared using Mg(NO3)2·6H2O,H3BO3,La(NO3)3·6H2O and different combustion agents(glycine,carbamide,citric acid,ammonium citrate) in this article. The effects of different reducing agents(combustions agent),time and temperature on the products were discussed. Products and product precursors were characterized by XRD,SEM,TG-DTA.The results show that the optimal condition of preparation of micro-nanometer LaMgB5O10 powder is that using glycine as combustion agent at 900 ℃ calcination for 5 h. The synthesized products have a high degree of crystallinity,homogeneous distribution and good dispersibility.
