Synthesis,Characterization and Photocatalytic Properties of Dentric Ni_2P Microcrystalline

Dendritic Ni2P microcrystalline were successfully synthesized via a surfactant-assisted hydrothermal route using NiSO4·7H2O as Ni source and urea as pH regulator. The as-obtained products were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD),field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) and UV-Vis spectrophotometer(UV-Vis). The results show that the products are pure Ni2P with hexagonal phase and have a dendritic morphology. The surfactant(SDBS) acts as a template in the dendritic growth process. The photocatalytic property of the product was investigated by the degradation of Methylene blue. The result show that the dendritic Ni2P microcrystalline exhibit good photocatalytic activities for methylene blue.
