Study on Preparation,Characterization and Photocatalytic Performance of TiO_2-Pt-CoPi Ternary Complex

Using tetrabutyl titanate(TBT) as the raw materials,TiO2 nanosheets were successfully prepared by hydrothermal method. Pt nanoparticles and CoPi catalyst were deposited onto the TiO2 nanosheets step-by-step using Photodeposition method. Consequently,a ternary complex TiO2-Pt-CoPi was successfully synthesized. The sample was characterized by XRD,SEM and TEM and the photocatalytic performance was tested. The results show that thus as-prepared ternary complex has different photocatalytic activity. The photocatalytic properties of the composite were optimized by regulating time and order of the light deposition,which enhancing full of photocatalytically splitting water activities.
