Diagnose Method of High Pressure Phase Transition for Alumina Based on Shock Spectrum

Alumina crystal is a kind of excellent optical transparent window material, but also an important material in the interior of the earth. By measuring the shock spectrum,it will gain not only its luminescence characteristics,can get high pressure phase change information. The radiation pyrometer and spontaneous spectroscopic techniques are combined together to study the light emission of c-cut aluminum single crystal from 40 to 120 GPa. Impact spectrum and radiation temperature of alumina crystals were obtained in the visible band of 400-700 nm. It was confirmed that the spectral and temperature values correlate with the structural phase transition of alumina.
