Fabrication and Electrochemical Properties of the Star-like VO_2 Nanostructure Materials

The star-like VO_2 nanostructures were successfully fabricated via hydrothermal method as highperformance electrode material,using V_2O_5 and oxalic acid as raw materials.The phase compositions,element and electronic valence state,and morphologies of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction spectrometry(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectra(XPS)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),respectively.The electrochemistry measurements show that the star-like VO_2having a specific capacitance of 574.75 F·g~(-1) at a current density of 0.2 A·g~(-1),and achieves a high energy density of51.09 Wh·kg~(-1).The star-like VO_2 has good cycling stability with capacitance retention of 90.2% after 4250 charge-discharge cycles,which exhibits an excellent capacitance performance.
