Experimental Study on the Drag Characteristics of Lubricating Oil in Boundary Lubrication

In the form of steady-state conditions,the drag characteristics of the hydraulic transmission oil were tested,and the effect of load,spindle speed and bearing oil pressure on drag characteristics of the hydraulic transmission oil was discussed.The result shows that spindle speed has the greatest impact on oil film pressure distribution.With the increase of spindle speed,oil film pressure increases first and then decreases.The drag coefficient increases with the increase of spindle speed under the same load,and it decreases slightly with the increase of load under the same spindle speed.
