Study on Weibull Distribution Form Parameter of Automotive Chain Fatigue Lifetime

The distribution function of automotive chain fatigue lifetime was discussed and the characteristics of Weibull distribution form parameter of fatigue lifetime that vary with its specification and loading were analyzed,the sampling inspection plan of lifetime of reliability was designed.The test results show that the lifetime of automotive chain under high stress test conditions complys with Weibull distribution with two parameters,the form parameter increases with test load increasing and decreases with pitch increasing.The sampling test by accelerating test can save time and cost,and the suggested overload level is 0.30 to 0.33 times of the minimum limit tensile load that the standard requires.
