Structure Design and Simulation on Unpowered Lubricating System of Lunar Rover

A type of unpowered lubricating system of lunar rover was designed,which does not need power sources.The lubricant was extruded out depending on the interaction between the parts and the tiny distortion of elastic-carrying body.As a result,liquid lubrication was achieved by making lubricant circling between friction surfaces.The simulation calculation in pressure and velocity of flow was done based on the theory and method of fluid-solid coupled on the designed lubricating system.The result indicates that the circulation flowing of lubricant between friction surfaces is carried out under a certain rotating speed and load conditions.The both of pressure and velocity of lubricant increase as the prolonging of the time,and tending to steady lastly.It could be basically proved that the designed structure of lubricating system is feasible.
