Study on the Synthesis and Tribological Performances of Methoxyethane Dialkyldithiocarbamate as Lubricant Additive

A novel dialkyl dithiocarbamate-derived organic ether was synthesized.Its tribological performances were evaluated on a four-ball tester and its antioxidation performance was estimated by rotary bomb oxidation test and PDSC.The synergistic effect of the synthesized additive with other antiwear and antioxidant additive was studied.The results indicates that the synthesized additive possesses excellent antioxidation synergism with arylamine antioxidant,and it exhibits good antiwear synergistic effect with ZDDP in lubricating oil.
