Test on rainwater collection from photovoltaic panel of photovoltaic power station

In order to make full use of rainfall resource of photovoltaic power station for agricultural irrigation,an indoor experiment was carried out to simulate the rainwater collection at a photovoltaic power station in Yuanmou County,Chuxiong Prefecture,Yunnan Province. Two kinds of models of 1: 1 scale were designed,i. e,column layout of single panel and column layout of three panels,and the analysis on relation of rainfall collection efficiency and rainfall intensity was carried out. The results show that the rainwater collection efficiency of the both layout are the same,the relation between instantaneous rainfall intensity and rainfall collection efficiency is nonlinear; the rainfall collection efficiencies at rainfall peak and valley are 56. 31% and 31. 56%.The test results are valuable to determining the rainfall collection amount from the panel of photovoltaic power station and based on this,the adaptable crops under the photovoltaic power station could be determined.
